Brief History: Aberlady Bowling Club was founded in 1888.Unfortunately the earlier records of the club have been lost so we have no record of the members and commitee who were present during the clubs inception The club received its 1st lease on 20th November 1888, the first rent for the ground cost 1/- (5p) a year, this stood until 1971 when the lease was increased to £1.00
The Clubhouse was erected in 1923 and it served the club until 1977 when with the help of the Sports Council a new building was erected on the same site, an extension was erected in 1985 when the club was granted a liquor licence, recently (1998) the club had a major renovation with the help of Littlewoods and the National Lottery, and was opened by Local renowned bowler: Graham Robertson	The following links will take you to pages : Trophies won by A.B.C.
